Dear All Transport Users
Re: COVID -19
I would like to reassure you that the BATS management are in contact with Local Authority at all times. We are taking guidance from both the Local Authority and the Government guidelines on hygiene and staying safe whilst on transport.
Transport for London have provided us with deep cleaning of vehicle guidelines which we are also following.
The Local Authority have also requested that all staff wear gloves (which is the current process).
Vehicles are cleaned and wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes and spray every day and all vehicles have hand sanitiser on board.
We are taking every precaution possible to reduce the likelihood of the spread of this virus.
Unfortunately, there may be changes in staff at this time, particularly if employees are self-isolating in line with Government guidance.
I would like to ask that you please bear with us, as we are doing everything possible to continue to provide you with a transport service.
Wishing you all well.
