DECLARATION

I agree to join the ‘BATS’ scheme for individual transport and understand that only one vehicle and one driver available and that bookings are on a first come first served basis.  Bookings must be made with BATs, between the hours of 9.30 and 14.30 Monday to Friday.

I understand that becoming member of BATS entitles me to use the hop n shop service, excursions plus other services BATs offer. These services are individually priced.

Availability of the vehicle on specific dates and times cannot be guaranteed unless the booking has been made in advance.  Bookings may be made at least 24 hours before date of journey.   If you have made a booking with us and no longer require it, you will need to give 24 hours’ notice to cancel the vehicle or you will be charged a cancellation fee. BATs will not take standing orders; only individually booked trips will be accepted until further notice.  Always ring and ask for advice regarding any regular bookings.

If sufficient notice is not given for cancellation, I will be charged £12.00 as a late cancellation fee by BATs. All bookings are subject to a £15.60 minimum charge which includes 5 miles free, our mileage rate thereafter is £1.14 p/mile & a £12.00 per hour driver charge.

Please do note that our drivers are on contracted routes and are subject to availability.

Members will be invoiced for their use of the vehicle on a monthly basis.  Cash should not be given to the driver at the time of the trip to safeguard the Driver’s safety.

Debit & credit cards can be taken over the phone.

GROUP MEMBERSHIP

17-seater wheelchair accessible vehicles, you only need a B Licence for many of our vehicles.

Enjoy the freedom of hiring a quality wheelchair vehicle, which you can drive on a car (B) Licence.

For only £45 including the first 25 miles (for self-drive hire) £1.14 per mile thereafter.

Our organisation agrees to abide by the terms and conditions as set out in the BATS Minibus Hire Policy, and we understand that any breach of these conditions may result in our group being expelled from membership.  We accept our liability to contribute a maximum of £1 to BATS assets in the event of BATS being wound up.  We understand that BATS is registered under the Data Protection Act and we consent to BATS holding the above information about our organisation .we understand that our information may be shared with carefully selected third parties (such as other voluntary groups) Vehicle hire £45, includes 25 miles, driver charge £15.00 per hour.
