BATS are pleased to announce that the Government The National Lottery Community Fund and Bexley Local authority have supported BATS to enable a Shop ‘n’ Drop service for the most vulnerable members of Bexley.
Bexley Accessible Transport Scheme is a local charity working in the community to support Older people, people with disabilities and the most vulnerable members of our community. To ensure that during COVID-19 essential shopping is available.
This service is completely FREE during COVID-19 .
All you pay for is your shopping and a small charge of 2.5% for card transactions (fee is from the merchant).
WHEN DOES THE SERVICE RUN?
The service will run 5 days a week. Monday – Friday.

48 hours’ notice required.
This fantastic service is for essential shopping.
HOW DO I BOOK?
- Simply call our friendly office on 01322311333 or email on enquiries@bexleyct.co.uk Subject line : “Shop N Drop“
Between 08.30 and 14.00 – Monday to Friday
- Tell us your shopping requirements including brands if required (48 hours’ notice required)
- Debit or credit card details (for payments)
You will then be allocated an approximate time and date of delivery.
Our friendly team will do your shopping.
Deliver to your door following social distancing rules.
You receive a receipt:
We then process payment transaction from details you have provided.

That’s it ! You can use this fantastic service on a regular basis.

Most frequent shops are Asda and Morrisons.
If the produce or brand is not available a suitable alternative will be bought if possible.
It is your responsibility to ensure you order the correct items and specify brands if required.
All times of delivery are approximate. Bats take no responsibility for any late running of the service.
Someone must be home to receive shopping (you will still be charged for shopping).
Card details are requested upon booking.
Maximum amount is £50.00 per shop.
